Great porros and churros, chocolate is also very good. Didn’t feel “churro heavy” after. This is THE place for churros and chocolate.

The best Churros I've had in Spain! I am lucky enough to live local to the Churrerìa and have been many times for churros and porras and enjoyed them every time. The long line of people outside on winter evenings shows the quality!

I hope the new owners of this traditional business realize the value of the good work of the previous owners if they want to maintain year-round clientele and not profit only from tourists. Before there was hygiene, order, attention to detail, quality raw materials that made people repeat whatever time of year it was. Now all that is fading as the days of the new management go by and look, the young staff who serve it are pleasant but they lack the care, hygiene, order and attention of their predecessors. I hope the new owners value this if they do not want to lose more of the loyal clientele that has kept this business as a reference for so many years.

What a shame the change of owners in this traditional churreria. The change could not have been worse, lack of hygiene, where churros and porras are served with their hands and then they handle anything else. Furthermore, the oil with churros that they served us, the bag was dripping with oil and it is the first time that we have not been able to finish the churros due to the excess oil that they had, in short, a shame. The size of churros and porras have decreased significantly, but the worst thing is that they could not be eaten. Let the previous owners return

A disastrous experience.... I have known this churreria for many years and I have always considered it the best in all of Madrid for the quality of its churros and chocolate. In fact there was always a line at the door. Today I returned after a few months and I found a great disappointment: first of all, the couple that ran it transferred it a few months ago and everything has changed. The light and crispy churros of yesteryear are now pasty dough, the thick, hot chocolate that stuck to the churro when you dipped it has now become a slippery liquid with barely any flavor. The size of churros has decreased significantly. For the first time we have left uneaten churros when before they flew without realizing it. I hope the old owners come back, this is no longer the same and I doubt it will happen again. It's a shame that they destroy a great local business that was working like a charm due to poor management by the person who currently runs it.

Wonderful breakfast experience. The kids and adults were delighted, wonderful natural orange juice, the divine hot chocolate and the churros and "portas" were on point. Friendliness and quality. At 8:30 in the morning there was already a line to sit down. Lots of locals picking up bags of churros for breakfast at home. Breakfast for 4 people -13€
